JOUZU is a single-member private limited company incorporated under the laws of Pakistan and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, with its registered office at 15 Ghazi Rd, Commercial Area, Sector K, DHA Phase 1, Lahore 54660, Pakistan.

Definitions

• “Customer”, “you”, or “your” means any individual who accesses the Site or places an order.
• “Order” means a request you submit through the Site, by phone, or through an authorised channel to purchase our products.
• “Products” means the bakery items and related goods offered by JOUZU.
• “Services” means the Site and any related online services we provide.

Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, or have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is true, accurate, and complete.

Acceptance of these Terms

By using the Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund & Return Policy, each of which forms part of the agreement between you and JOUZU.

Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on the Site, with the “Last updated” date shown above. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Orders and order acceptance

Product listings on the Site are an invitation to treat and do not constitute a binding offer. When you submit an order, you are making an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline at our discretion. A binding contract is formed only when we send you a written order confirmation by email or other electronic means.

We may decline an order where, among other reasons:

• The product is unavailable or out of stock
• We are unable to deliver to the address provided
• We suspect fraud, misrepresentation, or misuse
• The order contains pricing or product errors (see Pricing, errors, and taxes)
• The order falls outside our service area or delivery capability

Pricing, errors, and taxes

All prices are quoted in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and are inclusive of applicable sales tax unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown at checkout before you confirm your order.

We take reasonable care to ensure pricing is accurate. In the event of an obvious pricing or product description error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and refund any amounts paid, even after order confirmation.

Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

• SafePay (debit and credit cards, digital wallets, and other supported instruments)
• Cash on Delivery (COD) for eligible orders within our serviceable areas
• Other authorised payment methods as displayed at checkout

Payment is processed by our payment service providers under their own terms and security standards. We do not store full payment card details on our systems.

Delivery

Instant delivery (Lahore): Where available, we offer same-day or near-immediate delivery within designated areas of Lahore, subject to operational capacity and time-of-day availability.

Pre-booked nationwide delivery: We deliver to major urban centres across Pakistan on a pre-booking basis. Pre-booked orders must be placed within the time window stated at checkout, and delivery times are confirmed at the time of order.

Delivery is fulfilled by our own riders and by authorised third-party logistics partners, including foodpanda’s PandaGo service, inDrive, and other partners we may engage from time to time.

Estimated delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed. Risk in the Products passes to you on delivery to the address you have specified, or on collection where applicable.

Right to refuse delivery

We reserve the right to refuse or suspend delivery in cases of suspected fraud, abuse of our service, threatening or unsafe behaviour towards our staff or delivery partners, or repeated breaches of these Terms.

Refunds and complaints

Refund and complaint matters are governed by our Refund & Return Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review that Policy for full details.

Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including but not limited to the JOUZU name, logo, trade marks, product names, photographs, copywriting, recipes, designs, packaging, and website code — is owned by or licensed to JOUZU and is protected under the intellectual property laws of Pakistan and applicable international treaties.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, transmit, or otherwise use any of our intellectual property without our prior written permission. Limited personal, non-commercial use of the Site is permitted in the ordinary course of browsing and ordering.

User-generated content

If you submit reviews, photographs, comments, or any other content to us (whether through the Site, email, social media, or otherwise), you grant JOUZU a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, and adapt that content for marketing and operational purposes, with attribution where reasonable. You confirm that any content you submit is your own and does not infringe the rights of any third party.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
• Interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the Site
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts, or data
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract data from the Site, except for legitimate search-engine indexing
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity
• Submit false or misleading information in connection with an order
• Use the Site to transmit unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material

Promotions, discounts, and loyalty rewards

From time to time we may offer promotions, discount codes, vouchers, or loyalty rewards. These are subject to specific terms communicated at the time of the offer. Unless stated otherwise, offers cannot be combined, are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn or modified at our discretion.

Third-party links and services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services, including payment processors, delivery partners, and social media platforms. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or practices of those third parties. Your use of any third-party site or service is at your own risk and governed by their terms.

Disclaimers

The Site and the Products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Site or Products, except those that cannot be lawfully excluded.

We use reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, and information on the Site are accurate. Photographs are for illustrative purposes, and product appearance may vary slightly from the images shown.

Allergens: Our products are prepared in kitchens that handle wheat, eggs, dairy, soy, nuts, and other common allergens. Even where a product is described as free from a specific ingredient, we cannot guarantee zero cross-contact. If you have a serious allergy or intolerance, please contact us before ordering.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JOUZU, its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or our Products.

Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under Pakistani law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold JOUZU harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

Force majeure

We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, strikes, government action, public health emergencies, fuel or supply shortages, communications failures, internet outages, or interruptions to our delivery partners’ services.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The courts of Lahore shall have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any such dispute, save that we may bring proceedings against you in any other competent jurisdiction where you are resident or where a breach has occurred.

Dispute resolution

If you have a complaint or dispute, please first contact us at legal@jouzu.jp so that we can attempt to resolve it amicably. If we cannot resolve the matter within thirty (30) days, the dispute may be referred to arbitration in Lahore in accordance with the Arbitration Act 1940 (or any successor legislation), before a sole arbitrator agreed by the parties or, failing agreement, appointed in accordance with the Act. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or equitable relief in court.

Consumer rights under applicable provincial consumer protection legislation, including the Punjab Consumer Protection Act 2005 and equivalent laws in other provinces, are not affected by this clause.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or, if that is not possible, severed from the Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Return Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and JOUZU in relation to your use of the Site and the purchase of our Products, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations at any time, including in connection with a sale, merger, or restructuring of our business.
